Last week, our Year 1 and 2 children had a great time exploring the environmental garden with Edd from Yeovil Country Park. Everyone had a turn at drilling a hole to make a ‘bee hotel’, the children made their own smaller ‘bug hotel’ to take home and then we all had a turn ‘sweep netting’ the plants to see what creepy crawlies were living in our garden! Some children were more enthusiastic to get up close with the bugs than others! What a wonderful morning. Thank you Edd!
